Cardinal Path Announces Looker Licensing & Services

Cardinal Path has announced its designation as a Looker Delivery Verified reseller and services provider.

Looker is an enterprise-level business intelligence, data application, and embedded analytics platform that gives marketers the ability to quickly and easily visualize, analyze and activate data from disparate sources independent of technical resources.

“The key value proposition for Looker is simple and powerful: their centralized data model provides the foundation to deliver robust analytics experiences in a simple, intuitive format to help non-technical marketers make data-guided decisions”, says Jonathan Flander, VP Data Science, Cardinal Path, “Their modern approach to governance and workflow ensures that all stakeholders – business and IT – have a single view of data which enables the delivery of  sophisticated, self-serve analytics and enterprise-level reporting that would otherwise require ongoing support from technical resources.”

How it works

Looker is a Google solution, and has developed several integrations connections with both the Google Marketing Platform and Google Cloud Platform solutions. This includes several Looker Blocks which are pre-built pieces of code that you can leverage to accelerate your implementation.

By building out a robust data model to unify data sources (across CRM, web analytics, media data, etc.), Looker takes complex nuances from these data and organizes and presents them intuitively for marketing users.

Organizations can purchase a license from a certified reseller partner (such as Cardinal Path), then work together to build out a data model that maps to your business and technical objectives.

Your Looker partner will then build out visualizations, train and onboard your business users, and hand over a turnkey solution for analysis and reporting that pulls from your unique business data.

Insights can be used to activate data via Looker Actions. For example, if you conduct analysis in Looker and find a segment of users that have a high propensity to churn, you can push these into your media platform directly from Looker to initiate a win-back campaign.

There’s no data preparation required, so marketers gain speed to market with insights they can activate through its many native connectors. “BigQuery and Looker are a perfect match”, says Flander, ”You can take advantage of fast-scanning high performance data analysis capabilities that BQ supports and layer Looker on top for analysis and distribution of data across the enterprise.”

Time to get up and running: ~30 days, depending on number of data sources, users, and overall complexity of the enterprise.

With the cookieless future drawing nearer, Looker is a next-level, timely solution to better understand users and audiences and get the right information into the hands of marketers for quick, smart activation.
