DAVID BOOTH RECEIVES DIGITAL ANALYTICS ASSOCIATION 2014 AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE

Award Bestowed in Practitioner of the Year Category

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – March 19, 2014 – Last night the Digital Analytics Association (DAA) honored David Booth as a recipient of one of its annual Awards for Excellence, in the Practitioner of the Year category. This is the fourth year for the global awards competition, which recognizes outstanding contributions to the field of digital analytics.

The DAA is an international association whose mission is to help organizations illuminate and overcome the challenges of data acquisition, exploration, deduction and application. The awards announcement was made at the March 18 2014 DAA Awards for Excellence Gala.

David is a Founding Partner and Principal Consultant at Cardinal Path, as well as an author, instructor, adjunct professor, and public speaker. As a consultant, David has advised and worked with companies and organizations across five continents in web analytics and business intelligence, statistical analysis and testing, technology selection and deployment, and online and search marketing.

He has been involved in web application development as an engineer and consultant since the late 1990′s, beginning his career with Intel Corporation. Prior to Cardinal Path, he was a founder and partner at WebShare, LLC through its merger, and spent two years with the United States Peace Corps developing and deploying websites and web applications to attract grants and international aid for Guatemalan NGOs and local development organizations.

David earned his Master of Business Administration in International Management from the Monterey Institute of International Studies and holds a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Over 90 nominations were submitted for this year’s awards, and the final award recipients were selected by a panel of more than 30 distinguished independent judges representing all sectors of the digital analytics industry.

“I am very grateful for this recognition by the DAA and the panel of judges,” said Dave Booth. “Along with the team here at Cardinal Path, pursuing excellence in the field of digital analytics and pushing the boundaries of success for our clients is more than just a job for me. It’s what I love to do and it’s gratifying to be recognized alongside the industry’s most impressive talent. I thank the DAA for this honor, and I am proud to contribute to the accomplishments of our industry.”

It’s the second consecutive DAA Excellence Award for Cardinal Path. Last year, Stéphane Hamel, Director of Innovation, Cardinal Path, was awarded the DAA’s Most Influential Industry Contributor award.
