Below are a few items to help you prepare for your training, and some tidbits on what to expect.
Please note that you need to bring a laptop to your classes. Our training is hands-on and uses a workshop approach to help make the learning practical and “stick”. Tablet computers will do in a pinch, but are not really recommended as it is much more difficult to follow along with the demonstrations and participate with your fellow attendees during the workshops.
The venue will have free WiFi service, power outlets and desks for your use.
Schedule: Class check-in begins at 8:30 am, with a light continental breakfast, and training starts promptly at 9:00 am. There is a morning and afternoon break, and we provide a light lunch from 12:30 – 1:15 pm. Classes end each day at between 4:00 and 4:30 pm (depending on questions, class progress and follow-up).
Parking: is not included in the registration fee.
Please bring a sweater as meeting room temperatures can be hard to regulate at this time of year. Dress code is casual or business casual.
Meals: We provide a light continental breakfast, lunch and light refreshment breaks. If you have food allergies or other special meal requirements, please contact Nancy at firstname.lastname@example.org ASAP. Note that while we will make every attempt to accommodate your requests, we cannot guarantee specific dietary needs. We suggest that you always be prepared with your own snacks in the event our food does not support your nutritional requirements.
Materials: We will send your course files approx. 3-4 days before the training. We do not provide paper or printouts, so if you wish to follow along on paper you will need to print out the .pdfs.
AdWords Students: Please ensure you have admin access to an AdWords account. If you do not have an AdWords account, please set one up or get access to one prior to the class. There is a new version of AdWords Editor available and it is awesome! It may not prompt you to download it in your old Editor, so make sure you have the most current version as there are a lot of changes. If you already have Editor installed please download the latest version if you have time. http://www.google.com/

Analytics Students: Please have administrative access to a Google Analytics account. To sign up for an account please visit Google Analytics.
Getting the most from your training: You will find that we cover a lot of material in this training.
Extensive feedback from past attendees indicates that doing a little preparation beforehand to become even somewhat familiar with AdWords or Analytics is time well spent (and helps you get the most from your training investment). Accordingly, we encourage you to read/review the following:
Google Analytics: Google Analytics Help Center
AdWords: Google AdWords Help Center
Bring your questions: Have you been struggling with a tough AdWords or Analytics problem? Wondering if there is a better way to explore/analyze/optimize your campaign or site? Look no further: we welcome and invite you to bring your questions and share them with instructor (and class).
