On Thursday we created a youtube.com and myspace.com account for a client with the idea of promoting their made for TV commercials online.

Both accounts are easy to set up and can be very effective broadcast channels for traditional media.

Results: In the first 8 hours on YouTube.com our client's video was viewed over 300 times. In the first 24 hours on MySpace.com our client's video was viewed over 400 times.

What we learned: Using media created for TV can also be a very effective online tool and don't miss the boat with respect to social networks.
