Dave’s analytic experience comes from his military background as an intelligence analyst for the U.S. Navy in support of overseas war efforts and counterterrorism for numerous Department of Defense clandestine organizations. As a Chicago native, he returned home to civilian life working as a self-employed web designer, developer, analyst, and marketer before joining Cardinal Path via the Google Partner program.
He is cross disciplined in many areas for the digital intelligence and marketing arenas and now serves as a technical consultant, web analyst, and Google Analytics instructor for Cardinal Path. Dave works on projects such as custom website implementations to employ best tracking practices and ensure the data provided meets the unique objectives of the client. He will also design and develop business intelligence dashboards which provide quick and actionable information from a multitude of data sources to key client decision makers using products such as Klipfolio and Google Analytics.
Often Dave will conduct implementation audits to assess the accuracy and best practice collection of website data in addition to creating insight reports to translate raw data into usable insights to help shape the future of a client’s business. Regarding training he continually authors and delivers custom tailored analytic training to everyone from advanced analysts to beginners. Over the past two years Dave has consulted for many organizations such as Zendesk, Mercedes, Planned Parenthood, 1stDibs, BigCommerce, Education Writers Association, HomeAway, Inter-American Development Bank, First Republic Bank, LionBridge, U.S. Cellular, and Wikia.
Dave has also trained hundreds of analysts across hundreds of companies, verticals, and markets on the advanced analytic applications of Google Analytics.
