Google AdWords and Analytics Training Enables Agencies Worldwide

When Google was looking to train their Engage agencies on Google AdWords and Analytics, they looked no further than Cardinal Path.

THE CHALLENGE

Google’s Engage program is designed to provide training, tools and support to agencies offering Google AdWords services to clients. By reaching out to and enabling agencies across the world to offer professional services around Google products and services, end users get access to a powerful advertising solution while agencies continue to grow their businesses.

Attendee is engaged while learning to improve their business.Training these agencies on both the finer tactical aspects of implementing and using the Google products as well as how to get into and drive the business of performing these services is a unique challenge of this outreach and education program.

THE SOLUTION

David Booth speaking at Google Engage.Our most seasoned speakers and trainers went on tour offering Google AdWords and Analytics training sessions and seminars all over the world in support of the Google Engage efforts.

In North America, Cardinal Path worked with Google to plan and execute live, in person training events in Chicago, Dallas, New York, San Diego, Vancouver, Toronto and Calgary. Logistics and event coordination were handled by Cardinal Path, and each event contained both fundamental and advanced tracks as well as ample opportunity to not only learn about Google AdWords and Analytics, but also to network with peers and share solutions and best practices.

In Europe, Cardinal Path speakers and trainers keynoted and led events in cities such as Athens, Brussels, and Amsterdam, bringing with them a customized curriculum tailored to the region and and the needs of the Google Engage members.

Based on strong recommendations from Google marketing teams globally, we brought David Booth on as the lead keynote speaker for our Google Engage for Agencies event series hosted in capital cities across Australia during November. The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive with agents praising both the quality of his content and his inspirational presentation style. David’s ability to deliver even the most advanced AdWords topics in an understandable and highly relevant manner meant agencies walked away from the events feeling incredibly motivated and with plenty of practical, actionable takeouts. THE RESULTS

By the end of 2011, thousands of Engage members had been trained all around the world.

  • Tactical training was delivered, bringing Engage members up to speed and feeling confident about building and managing Google AdWords campaigns for their customers.
  • Models and processes for building or augmenting a line of business from the Google advertising platform were provided, enabling agencies to grow their organizations.
  • Agencies in the search marketing community were able to network and create relationships among their peers to share best practices and discuss regional markets.

Feedback from attendees was outstanding across the board and reflected both the extremely high quality and delivery of content as well as the usefulness of the sessions in taking clear next steps. The bottom line: those that attended learned things they could use to impact their business immediately.
