Marketing Specialist

Location: Vancouver

Department: Marketing

Essential Duties:

  • Provide strategic planning for client marketing efforts – define and implement strategy, objectives, targets, and measures
    • Evaluate business goals from client marketing team and develop display-media buying strategy
    • Build, update and deliver weekly and monthly reports, score cards, dashboards and key performance reports using Excel and BI tools
    • Optimize and continually reassess client buy performance, maintaining budget requirements and meeting ROI goals
  • Implement media buys on Microsoft Media Network platform as well as Google Display Network and experience utilizing and optimizing both platforms
  • Develop, plan, and execute search-marketing strategy (PPC/SEO) for clients, utilizing Microsoft adCenter and Google AdWords platforms.
  • Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly results to client and Cardinal Path stakeholders, identifying key ROI metrics
  • Provide EMEA Display and Search market insights, through client presentation and blog-writing efforts
  • Scope and design media proposals to developing Cardinal Path EMEA business engagements in market
  • Facilitate and deliver Google partner trainings, specifically with regards to Adwords Display and Search functionality, as well as Google Analytics
  • Provide technical support for conference attendees on Cardinal Path business tools and methodology
  • Deliver presentations on Cardinal Path tools and business intelligence to industry conference events

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in Economics, Marketing, Computer Science or related field
  • Microsoft Accredited Professional qualification
  • Microsoft Media Network / Atlas Admarket system experience
  • Google Analytics Individual Qualification
  • Google Adwords Display and Search Qualification
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience working for online vendor [Microsoft/Google/Yahoo preferred]
  • High-level expertise in Display Marketing strategies and experience measuring success of branding and direct response media campaigns across multinational inventory.
  • Ability to assess, optimize, and drive client improvement across CPC/CPA/Retargeting and profile targeting media buys
  • Heavy utilization and understanding of spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel
  • Has worked directly in EMEA market, and can demonstrate knowledge of display market nuances, particularly client landscape, seasonal trends, and advertising language differences
  • Proven experience in building and delivering presentation content tailored to appropriate audience across wide range of knowledge levels
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources
  • Experience in designing a full training module complete with assessment
  • Ability to facilitate and deliver training program across multiple online media subjects to varying experience levels
  • Extensive travel experience in delivering trainings, presentations, and materials to multiple international regions
